Dr. András Gilly is a senior partner attorney-at-law, specialising in commercial and business law, real estate law and intellectual property law.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Eötvös Loránd University in 2005, Summa Cum Laude. He specialises in pharmaceutical law, covering all areas from manufacturing to wholesale and retail activities.

Upon graduation he joined the legal team of Bálintfy & Partners Law Firm, where he passed bar exam with distinction in 2010. He started his legal practice as an independent lawyer, but also as an associate partner in the legal team of Bálintfy & Partners Law Office, where he became a member of the firm in 2019 as a senior partner. He joined the Hungarian legal team of Ecovis in 2025.

His areas of specialisation include business law, real estate development, property management, real estate trading, employment law, data protection, intellectual property law, pharmaceutical law and corporate law, and he has significant experience in contract law, bankruptcy and liquidation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and litigation.

He regularly prepares contracts for both ad hoc and permanent clients in relation to the use and transfer of real estate, and has considerable experience in land development, zoning and construction matters. This experience is mainly provided to property development and trading companies and property funds.

He has considerable theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of legal support for economic and commercial affairs of companies, contractual settlement of international economic relations, business-related legal support for business negotiations, crisis management. He has extensive experience in providing day-to-day legal support to companies.

Dr. András Gilly has extensive experience in the broad field of employment law: litigation on behalf of employers and employees; drafting employment contracts, employer measures and regulations; advising on the creation of an optimal employment law environment, including employment data protection issues and employment due diligence.

He regularly participates in M&A and due diligence projects, applying his knowledge of corporate, commercial and labour law.

Legal support in relation to the trading of medicines and the manufacture and distribution of APIs is part of his daily work, as is the management and enforcement of publishing rights, intellectual property and all related legal support for his clients with copyright concerns.

He provides legal services to clients in Hungarian and English.
