Provisional tax return prepared by the state tax authority
The state tax authority (NAV) has prepared around five million provisional personal income tax returns this year which function as a kind of recommendation. However, a provisional tax return is only a draft which is prepared on the basis of the data available in the registries of the NAV and which does not necessarily contain all the data you need to report.
What could be those incomes and expenses that the NAV is not aware of, albeit, it must be included in the tax return? What to do if you are eligible to tax allowances or if you have an overpayment?
It is important to bear in mind that no matter if you do not even take a look at the draft until the deadline of May 22, it will automatically be your official personal income tax return.
Therefore it is strongly advised to check the details.
