Conference for Ecovis experts in Luxemburg
In early May, this year’s annual EMEA regional meeting of the Ecovis international network was held at a special venue in Luxemburg. At the European Congress Center (ECCL), where the Council of the European Union meets regularly, this time the representatives of the Ecovis regional advisory network discussed recently trending issues.
The network has expanded again: Malta, Algeria, Sweden and Turkey have presented their new offices; further strengthening cross-border services.
Ecovis Hungary made a summary about its active role in the international co-operation: dr. György Zalavári gave a presentation to the participants of the legal transactions having been carried out jointly with other Ecovis offices of the region. Analyzing case studies can effectively improve professional collaboration between offices and can optimize processes to meet customer needs.
Special attention was paid to the software solutions available in the US market and that will determine the future of the legal profession. The impact of the new technology (LegalTech) on the operation of law firms in the region can be perceived as well.
With respect to the significant role of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), entering into effect these days, a key issue was the interpretation of the new requirements prescribed by the GDPR and its impact on the development of the legal service line.
The professional network having more than 5000 experts and operating in more than 60 countries offers complex services in continuously expanding areas. ECOVIS HUNGARY, providing a full range of services in Hungary, is present on all of the 4 expert fields and keeps developing its team with new experts.
