Ecovis Internship Program

The Ecovis Hungary Legal internship program has started, in which we offer law students long-term opportunity to work in our renewed law firm. This internship program is not for the compulsory training but we are looking for colleagues for an app. 10 hours a week job the tasks of which can be done along with legal studies. The internship can be the beginning of a long-term cooperation.

Our first trainee, Zsófia Végh, a third-year student at ELTE ÁJK, started working with us in the second half of September. She wanted to learn and we are partners in this: We endeavour to give Zsófi exciting, motivating tasks while she gets familiar with the office routine.

A feature of our programme is that a trainee's tasks are coordinated by a different partner each month, giving him insight into the specialities and workflows of several practice groups. As a permanent role, the trainee will be responsible for tasks outside of the office but also will be able to get to know various legal tasks, such as reviewing contracts and taking part in client meetings. The intern can see a bit of everything while he can provide useful support to our lawyers. By the time he gets to the end of the university studies, he will have gained a wealth of professional experience.

Over the past few weeks, we have also started to learn this new form of cooperation, which is a step forward in the organizational operation of our office. We hope that our long-term internship program with Zsófi will be mutually successful, and we can expand our team with another law student intern in a short time.
