Our lectures at the events of the KÖSZ and the MVSZ
In June our experts had lectures on issues of GDPR and Public Procurement Law at the events of two large professional organizations, the Public Procurement Advisors’ Association (KÖSZ) and the Hungarian Association of Customs Affairs (MVSZ).
The KÖSZ in 2018 continues its popular professional consultation series: the 31st “Közbe-Szerda” this time with the involvement of Ecovis experts, was held on the 13th of June 2018 for those interested in the field. The event began with the presentation by Dr Andrea Szabó lawyer, accredited public procurement consultant and partner of Ecovis Hungary Legal. Dr Andrea Szabo talked about the amendments of public procurement contracts and the way of exercising control over the performance of contracts, describing several recent decisions of the arbitration board. The full presentation can be downloaded.
After that, Dr Nagy-Fribiczer Gabriella presented current case-law problems related to the preparation of public procurement procedures and to the evaluation of these. The consultation ended with the high level lecture of Dr Sándor Puskás, chairman of the Public Procurement Arbitration Committee, who presented his experiences about the appeal procedures, in particular the latest decisions of the Curia and the courts, and he also presented the rules of electronic administration to the participants.
In early June the MVSZ held training for its members about details of the GDPR. As an invited expert lecturer, our data protection lawyer, Dr Kinga Kálmán presented the current legal regulations to the participants.
We would like to thank the honorable invitation to our strategic partners, to the KÖSZ and to the MVSZ, and we are happy to participate at their future events.
