Personnel changes

2019 brought new tasks to our firm’s life, that’s why we began the new business year with several personnel changes.

Dr Kornél Jean took over as Managing Equity Partner who began his career more than 20 years ago as a junior lawyer at the founder of the firm, Dr Péter Kesseő-Balogh. Kornél had an extensive role that our office is now ranked as the 6th largest among the law firms with international background.

Gabriella Ráti was promoted to Office Manager as this position had become vacant when her predecessor had moved to the countryside. Gabriella, who got quite familiar with our firm during the 7 years she has been working here, assists the work of the managing partner and legal experts by the heading of the administrative team of 10.

Our office engaged a new senior associate, Dr Attila Fehér. He passed his bar exam with honors and was called to the bar in December; he has been mentored by Dr Kornél Jean for the past years.

Dr Ákos Bihary, partner attorney at Ecovis Hungary Legal, has been an honored member of our team for 6 years; from 2019 he is a senior partner. As a naming partner his name will be included in the official name of our law firm which will be Balogh - Bihary - B. Szabó - Jean - Zalavári & Partners Law Firm.  Not only did Ákos receive high recognition from our clients and co-workers but he appeared in a TV show last year together with Dr Attila Fehér representing our firm in labor law related topics.

The above changes will further strengthen the professionality of our firm. We are proud of our colleagues and we wish them good luck in their new position!
