ECOVIS HUNGARY as a strategic partner and supporter of the Hungarian Association of Customs Affairs and of the Hungarian Association of Trust Funds held presentations in two nation-wide vocational conferences in April.

Members of the Association of Customs Affairs had their regular annual meeting in Eger between April 21-22, 2017 to discuss customs, tax and environment management issues related to the national economy. ECOVIS HUNGARY group as a new member introduced itself for the first time. Dr. Zoltán Pályi held a conference presentation of practical instructions from a taxation perspective in fields connected to the Association of Customs Affairs, while dr. Kornél Jean summarized the legal links of these. They drew the attention to cross-border and complex services and to the opportunity for continuous professional dispute: recent entries at Jogadó blog, which has been operating since this April, and a series of professional handbooks, the first issue of which is “Invoicing Handbook 2017”, offer detailed answers for questions of broad and current interest.

Over 130 people attended at the conference where ECOVIS HUNGARY was represented by senior partner dr. Gábor B. Szabó who is one of the founders and also the secretary of the local member of STEP. He regularly publishes his blog entries of the “Hungarian Trusts” at jogado.hu where he provides an overview of the operation and comments on important issues.
